About Nak-Yak

Nak-Yak.com is a neighborhood newsletter for Nakoma residents and friends. We have two goals:

One, to communicate news, information, events, and activities in Nakoma and surrounding communities.

Two, to bring together like-minded folks interested in lifelong learning, staying active, and being adventurous.

This newsletter and associated Nak-Yak events is strictly resident-driven. It's designed as an uplifting resource, based on the values of Great Spirit and Nakoma and Nakomis.

We need reporters, writers, grammar gurus, photographers, and website content editors. Check out the following positions perhaps brush up on some skills. Pick and choose the stories or area in which you'd like to be involved.

Content Providers / Editors

Ideally, we'll have "Editors" for each of the tabs above. Editors help populate their category. Off the top... something like...

Events Editor: Source upcoming events around the area from billboards, flyers, FaceBook, Instagram, Portola Patch. Update this website with events (it's easy) or submit events to a web designer to upload.
Partners Editor: Establish and maintain relationships with our valued partners. Connect with partner representatives from for content they want publicized and ways we can support them.
